  1. Rendell Says:
what a crupp!!! there is nothing like the first version.please jesus, forgive us for spoiling the movie.
  2. Moncha Says:
The funny thing is, Christians today (COUGH George Bush) are some of the biggest warmongers around. Oh well I'll see them in hell too!
  3. Ora Says:
I love the look Jesus gives to Judas on 1.37 :p
  4. MAKANI Says:
This version seems to have Jesus blanching at the Zealot and Sicarii sentiments of his inner circle more so than the original.
  5. Dymphna Says:
I think the key is not to make comparisons between thevmovies but to take them for what they are. They both have their share of good and bad. I love them both! :)
  6. MUT Says:
1:31 I didnt know Bob Marley was of jesus's time LOL
  7. Evin Says:
I recently heard this song from the 1996 London recording. On that recording, Glenn Carter (Jesus in THIS version) plays Simon. Hearing Glenn Carter sing this song was kind of spooky.
  8. Aricela Says:
LOL, I just had another thought about this Tony Vincent as a crazed fanboy for Jesus thing... I'm pretty much a crazed fangirl for Jerome Pradon. I hope that, if I ever meet Jerome Pradon, I do not behave like Tony Vincent in this video:-P
  9. UPTON Says:
LMAO, you're right about Tony Vincent acting like a crazed fanboy. I will never watch this scene the same way again:-P Do you feel like Judas is a know-it-all in the musical in general, or just this specific version? I don't really get that sense... At first, yes, he's definitely a know-it-all. But, from the betrayal and onward, I don't think he seems that way anymore.
  10. Kenneth Says:
On the other hand, Tony Vincent does a good job of acting like a crazed fanboy. xD I hate how Judas is so know-it-all in the musical though >.> It's not like that, peeps.
  11. Thornton Says:
C'mon, you guys, do the sixties dance! xDDD
  12. Myrna Says:
I like the 1973 version much better. This Tony Vincent guy is freaky.
  13. Duffy Says:
ok i agree the dance looks weird^^but however he is a far better singer and i like this song too^^
  14. Erving Says:
This kinda looks like the outsiders
  15. Una Says:
LOL, no, because his dancing looks like a seizure. By contrast, 2000 Simon reminds me of a boy band, which is also not a good thing. However, I do like the song itself.
  16. Arelis Says:
why because hes black?? xDD but his voice is really much more powerfull !
  17. Moncha Says:
I am not a Tony Vincent fan, but I don't think much of 1973 Simon, either. He scares me.
  18. Jacky Says:
    tony vincent
  19. Lisandra Says:
yeah he sucks yet he was gonna go on a tour of jesus christ superstar as simon, but at the last minute he was bumped up to JUDAS
  20. DRUMMOND Says:
looked to me more like he's saying," I didn't do anything
  21. ZAC Says:
lol this guy sucks so much! listen to the guy and his powerfull voice in the 1973 movie!
  22. Faunia Says:
So simon zealots invented the gun? XD This number is great lol the guy who plays simon is has got an awsome voice..
  23. MICHIO Says:
Judas' reactions throughout this entire song are the best part, IMHO.
  24. IASIUS Says:
I think the Roman dudes are tight.
  25. Torley Says:
I am Jewish, and I like this musical for 2 reasons: the character of Judas and the number "This Jesus must die." It establishes reasons behind every character.
