Israel is defending itself from Hamas, supported by Iran. The major difference is that the USA, allies, and Israel try not to hurt civilians and innocent children. The Taliban, Al-qaeda, Hamas and others do kill innocent people (suicide bombers, using children as shields etc). Your insult is not called for. Of course they are human beings!

Afghanistan needs to be free from pot, hash, opium, and other drugs that poison any society. Pakistan is not doing enough to remedy the current situation. In fact NATO isn't either. NATO allies can remove the Taliban from one area, but leave that area so the Taliban can take over again because there are is not enough cooperation and personal to hold the taken areas. Canada can not do this alone.
